Pesta Rakyat TMII August 17, 2025: Welcoming the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia Pesta Rakyat TMII August 17, 2025 which takes place August 16-18, 2025. Various entertainment events to fill the weekend are also presented for free, ranging from concerts, cultural parades, reog, to interesting competitions typical of independence. For three days, TMII will be the center of the people's party with various interesting entertainment events ranging from culinary festivals, musician performances to the Reog Ponorogo parade.
80 Years of Diversity Photography Exhibition: In commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia, Komunitas Negeri Elok presents a Photography exhibition with the theme "80 Years of Diversity" at the National Museum of Indonesia. Initiated by the Didit Hediprasetyo Foundation, the exhibition features 80 photographs and video visual works by prominent Indonesian photographers and artists such as Beawiharta, Jay Subyakto and Arseto Adiputra. The show is open to the public from August 15 to October 31, 2025 at the National Museum of Indonesia.
