Pesta Rakyat TMII August 17, 2025: In celebration of Indonesia’s Independence Day, Pesta Rakyat TMII August 17, 2025 will be held from August 16–18, 2025. A variety of free entertainment events will be presented to enliven the weekend, ranging from concerts, cultural parades, and Reog performances to exciting traditional Independence Day competitions. For three days, TMII will be the center of a grand public festival featuring various attractions, from culinary festivals and musical performances to the Reog Ponorogo parade.

80 Years of Diversity Photography Exhibition: To commemorate the 80th anniversary of Indonesia’s independence, the Negeri Elok Community presents a photography exhibition themed “80 Years of Diversity” at the National Museum of Indonesia. Initiated by the Didit Hediprasetyo Foundation, the exhibition showcases 80 photographs and videos by leading Indonesian photographers and visual artists such as Beawiharta, Jay Subyakto, and Arseto Adiputra. The event will be open to the public from August 15 to October 31, 2025, at the National Museum of Indonesia.
