The Ministry of Finance reported on Thursday (20/11) that the achievement of financial and fiscal performance is still considered prudent, providing more room for maneuver for the government to respond to uncertain global economic dynamics.
The government continues its efforts to alleviate poverty by expanding the scope of social safety net recipients. Ministry/agency budgets that have not been optimally absorbed are reallocated for this purpose.
The government is closely monitoring the circulation of illegal cigarettes. Until the end of September, 816 million illegal cigarettes were secured. This is one of the efforts to increase state revenue from excise.
Three months before the turn of the year, the absorption of expenditure fund allocations, especially to the Government Priority Program, is still relatively low. The Minister of Finance gives a deadline for Ministries and Institutions (K / L) to prepare a strategy for absorbing funds or there will be a reallocation.
Realization of the state budget until September 2025 reached 63.4%. This performance was mainly supported by the realization of the Regional Transfer (TKD) budget, which reached 74.6%. Meanwhile, central government spending only reached 59.7% due to several ministries/agencies whose realization was below 50%.
State revenue up to September only reached 65% of the target, while state spending only reached 63.4% of the target.
