Targeting IDR 35 Trillion, Harbolnas Boosts Purchasing Power at Year-End
- National Online Shopping Day (Harbolnas) 2025 returns this year with various discounts and attractive offers that are expected to boost consumer spending ahead of the year-end. Falling on December 12 (12.12), Harbolnas is targeted to generate Rp 35 trillion, a 10% increase from the previous year's figure of Rp 31.2 trillion.
- The event will take place over a week, from December 10-16, 2025, involving 1,000 digital businesses, including micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM). In 2024, this program recorded transactions of IDR 31.2 trillion with local products contributing IDR 16.1 trillion, or 51.6%. Meanwhile, sales of local products during Harbolnas 2025 are targeted to reach IDR 17 trillion, an increase of 6.1% from last year's achievement.

Airport Ready to Extend Operating Hours Following Airbus A320 Recall
- All airports in Indonesia are ready to extend their operating hours as a result of the withdrawal of thousands of aircraft and repairs to Airbus A320 Family aircraft software some time ago. This is being done in anticipation of a surge in passengers during the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year holidays. Meanwhile, so far there have been no reports of any serious impact on Indonesian aviation or tourism.
- PGS Corporate Secretary Group Head InJourney Airports Arie Ahsanurrohim said that flight schedule disruptions are only expected to occur from November 30 to December 4, 2025. Currently, there are six airlines operating Airbus A320 aircraft, namely Batik Air, Super Air Jet, Citilink Indonesia, Indonesia AirAsia, Pelita Air, and Transnusa. Based on data from the Ministry of Transportation, Indonesia has more than 207 Airbus A320 aircraft. Of these, 38 must be grounded for repairs.

Industrial Sustainability and Nature That Needs to Be Protected
- As one of the world's largest timber producers, the sustainability of Indonesia's forestry industry depends on the availability of raw materials. The use of raw materials must take into account forest conservation and anticipate the impact of natural damage caused. The forestry industry, particularly timber and its processed products, is one of the mainstays of the Indonesian economy. Data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) on roundwood production for the 2019-2024 period shows an upward trend in production volume.
- National timber production grew significantly, starting from 57.930 million cubic meters in 2019 and peaking at 68.215 million cubic meters in 2023. In 2024, production declined slightly to 64.839 million cubic meters. Geographically, roundwood production in Indonesia is dominated by two main regions, namely Sumatra and Kalimantan. The contribution from these two regions has consistently been the mainstay of national production.
