Attractive Accelerative SEZ Roundtable Decision

SUAR discussion forum with stakeholders related to Special Economic Zone Development. Organized on December 02, 2025.

The role of Special Economic Zones (SEZs) has far greater potential than just being considered as areas to attract investment. SEZs can be directed to become a driving force for national economic development with the ability to accelerate investment flows, encourage innovation, and facilitate technology transfer to various industrial sectors.

In addition, SEZs also have the power to create a more competitive business ecosystem through various facilities and incentives, such as import duty exemptions, ease of licensing, and integrated infrastructure support. The existence of this ecosystem provides opportunities for companies to accelerate production processes, reduce operational costs, and improve product quality, so that the competitiveness of the national industry can continue to grow.
