The development of the 2025 National Strategic Projects (PSN) can have multiple impacts on regional development, including increased community income, increased regional economic output, and industrial added value, said the Indonesian Employers Association (Apindo).
This was in response to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's proposal to include the Jakarta Old City Tourism Area Development project and the Sumber Waras Hospital Development into the 2025 PSN.
"If PSN is built with full commitment, it will certainly provide amultiplier effect," APINDO Expert Council, Danang Girindrawardana told SUAR in Jakarta (11/11).
According to him, PSN can also increase the productivity of the national economy by facilitating the flow of transportation and logistics. It also supports the demand for passenger transportation and builds national connectivity.
PSN can attract investment, both domestic and foreign, because it offers legal certainty and accelerated licensing.
"Special economic zones (SEZs) which are part of the PSN can also increase competitiveness globally," he said.
