Europe, Turkey, Canada Queue for Cooperation, Opening New Export Markets
- This September, three trade agreements have been successfully agreed or signed, namely, the comprehensive industrial cooperation between Indonesia-Turkey, the Indonesia-European Union Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IEU-CEPA), and the Indonesia-Canada Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (ICA-CEPA). Previously, in August 2025, Indonesia also signed a trade agreement with Peru.
- These steps are part of the government's strategy to strengthen Indonesia's position in the global supply chain and increase the added value of downstream products. There are many opportunities from these trade partnerships.

The Importance of Synergy with the Private Sector to Accelerate Subsidized Housing Projects
- On Monday (29/9/2025), there will be a launch contract for 25,000 subsidized houses. This is part of the 350,000 houses targeted this year. As one of the priority programs of President Prabowo Subianto's administration, the construction of 3,000,000 houses for low-income people (MBR) is a long-awaited commitment.
- The government ensures that the Housing People's Business Credit (KUR) will continue to run with a ceiling of IDR 130 trillion. The details are Rp 117 trillion for developer stimulus and Rp 13 trillion to stimulate demand. The business world can also collaborate to be involved in this project.

Trillions of US Dollars Potential, Attract Investment to Build AI Infrastructure
- According to the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, the economic potential of AI in ASEAN could increase GDP by USD 1 trillion by 2030, with Indonesia contributing 40% or around USD 366 billion. Indonesian technology companies ranging from IBM to Telkom are also conducting various developments and expansions in the field of AI to be involved in it.

High Demand, Indonesian Green Economy Bonds Sell Well
- Indonesia ranks second among Southeast Asian countries as the largest issuer of green and sustainable economy bonds. In the second quarter of 2025, Indonesia issued 18% of the total green, social, sustainability, and sustainability-linked (GSSS) bonds in Southeast Asia. Meanwhile, Singapore ranked first with a share of 64.3%. However, bonds from Indonesia offer the highest coupon with 8.1%. The tenor period is quite short, namely 3%.

SEZs are the mainstay for economic acceleration
- Special economic zones (SEZs) are one of the main instruments to accelerate economic growth. The concept is not just to build industrial estates, but to create an efficient investment ecosystem that is a magnet for foreign and domestic investors. The 2024 performance report shows that this strategy is starting to bear fruit. Investment achievements in SEZs across Indonesia jumped significantly, from IDR 13.2 trillion in 2020 to IDR 90.1 trillion in 2024.
- There are now a total of 25 SEZs, covering manufacturing, technology, and tourism sectors. This increase proves that SEZs have successfully created a more competitive business climate and attracted capital, which is an important foundation for economic acceleration.
