Graffiti Becomes a Space for Ideas CEO of M Bloc Space Develops Business

As the leader of a meeting place for young people from all over Jakarta, Ahmad Romero Comacho never runs out of ideas. The CEO of M Bloc Space, who is fondly known as Popo, draws various creative ideas from graffiti art to express himself. Met by SUAR during the Bright Society Fest event in Jakarta on Saturday (December 13, 2025), the 35-year-old enthusiastically shared his inspiration and philosophy derived from his hobby of applying various colors to blank surfaces. For Popo, graffiti, the creative industry, and young people are inherently interconnected.
Popo collaborated with many mural and graffiti artists to add a touch of color to the places that were built, including M Bloc Space. As a result, TEAMUP's touch through Ruang Riang Millenial, which manages M Bloc Space, has succeeded in restoring the glory of the Blok M area as a creative space for young people, as well as Urban Forest Cipete and Cibis Park Cilandak. M Bloc Space is now the epicenter of the creative industry and the most iconic public space in South Jakarta. Located in Melawai, this area has succeeded in connecting the city's history with its people.

Jakarta Christmas Market 2025. Welcoming Christmas this year, the Jakarta Christmas Market 2025 will enliven the atmosphere at Blok M Hub. The event is scheduled to be held from December 20 to December 30, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. WIB, at Blok M Hub, South Jakarta. Held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Galeri Indonesia Kaya, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. WIB, this performance will feature the music group Krontjong Toegoe, a group with a long history since 1988 that has won various AMI Awards. This legendary music group will collaborate with singer Vanda Hutagalung to perform Christmas songs arranged in regional and national languages. These Christmas carols also serve as a cultural diplomacy effort to introduce the richness of keroncong music as part of Indonesia's cultural heritage to the wider community.
