One Year of Prabowo's Administration, Indonesia Remains a Bright Spot
- During President Prabowo Subianto's one-year term, Indonesia's economy has grown sustainably. In fact, Indonesia remains one of thebright spots in an uncertain world economy.
- This is reflected in various economic indicators, such as economic growth in the second quarter of 2025 which reached 5.12%. Inflation in September 2025 was also under control at 2.65% on an annual basis, still within the government's target range of 1.5%-2.5%. Investor confidence is also in a solid position. This can be seen from the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI), which has broken the 8,000 level since September and continues to set record highs this October. Direct investment also recorded a positive performance. In the first semester of 2025, investment realization reached Rp 924.6 trillion, up 13.6% compared to the same period the previous year, with a labor absorption of 1.2 million people.

Facing European Regulation, Government Ready to Free Commodity Traceability License
- The Indonesian government plans to free uptraceability licenses for exports of a number of commodities to the European Union. This step responds to concerns among industries in the plantation sector ahead of the implementation of the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).
- This regulation was delayed twice, before finally scheduled to take effect at the end of December 2026 for large companies and the end of June 2026 for micro and small businesses.

Immediate Budget Reallocation if Absorption Remains Slow
- The realization of central government spending (BPP) until 30 September 2025 has only reached Rp 1,589.9 trillion or 59.7% of the outlook for the semester report (lapsem). It is necessary to accelerate spending by IDR 1,292.7 trillion in the last three months to achieve the annual target.
- The realization of expenditure for the central government's priority programs amounting to IDR 480.4 trillion has only been absorbed by 51.6% of the IDR 930.7 trillion ceiling as of October 3. Budget absorption in several government priority programs is even below 50%.
