House of Representatives Holds Working Committee Meeting on the Employment Bill

Commission IX of the House of Representatives continues to speed up the process of the Manpower Bill. One of them is organizing a Working Committee Meeting that specifically invites academics to convey views and input related to the revision of this bill.

They are educational institutions from the University of Indonesia and Gadjah Mada University, as well as the Indonesian Labor Law Teachers and Practitioners Association (P3HKI).

This meeting aims to absorb the main ideas from labor law experts regarding the proposed revision of Law Number 13 Year 2003, especially as a follow-up to the Constitutional Court Decision related to the labor cluster in the Job Creation Law.

The involvement of academics confirms the commitment of Commission IX to ensure that the resulting Labor Law will be fair, protect workers' rights, while maintaining a healthy investment climate, through an open and transparent discussion process.
