Good morning, Chief...

The following is important information related to the development of the business universe that needs attention today based on the curation of the SUAR Team.

Adding the "Eye of the President" to the Cabinet, Sharpening Program Implementation

  • President Prabowo Subianto reappointed two new deputy ministers and a number of other government officials on Wednesday (8/10/2025). This is the fourth reshuffle of deputy minister positions and officials in recent months, or less than a year into his presidency. The two key senior officials are Akhmad Wiyagus as Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (Wamendagri) and Benjamin Paulus Octavianus as Deputy Minister of Health (Wamenkes).
  • Judging from their backgrounds, Wiyagus and Benjamin are fairly close in President Prabowo's circle. Doctor Benjamin, a lung specialist, was once listed as Special Assistant to the Minister of Defense for Health. He is also a Gerindra Party functionary. Meanwhile, Wiyagus, before retiring last September, was the Head of the National Police Intelligence and Security Agency. Looking at the profiles of the two, it seems that President Prabowo wants to strengthen the supervisory side to accelerate his government programs.
  • In addition, Prabowo also inaugurated a number of heads of agencies and institutions, the Governor and Deputy Governor of Papua and 10 Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (LBBP) to several friendly countries. Some of them are Head of SOE Regulatory Agency Dony Oskaria, Deputy Head of SOE Regulatory Agency Aminudin Maruf, Deputy Head of SOE Regulatory Agency Tedi Bharata, Governor of Papua Matius Fakhiri, Deputy Governor of Papua Aryoko Alberto Ferdinand Rumaropen.

In order not to be just a number, attention to the quality and impact of growth is important in the midst of world turmoil that is preparing for the birth of a new economic order. Holistic and technocracy-based policies are key.
